Lionel Breistroff was born in Mulhouse / Alsace / France in 1970. As a teenager, he acquired the basics of drawing with Rémi Bloch. Later he completed his training at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Strasburg.
At the age of 20, after a first exhibition in an art gallery in Mulhouse, he decided to dedicate his further career to artistic creation.
His exhibitions in France, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and New Zealand have enabled him to share his aesthetic sensitivity with the observers.
Personal encounters lead him to a painting characterised by interiority, which is becoming increasingly minimalist.
